Apocalypse now – industrial civilization

Sky turned murderous burns the scars
Signs of cancer branded to our bodies

Washed in the seas of poisonous waste

Erosion destroys the soils once lifegiving
And millions of human insects are dying now
Dying for hunger and overpopulation in filth
Killing for anything to eat or copulate with

Tombs of nuclear waste, ulcers on the body of Earth
We are the matricides, main menu on her funeral feast
Not apex predators, just swarming arrogant parasites
Without chance to survive the laws of natural cleansing

Then water, sun and wind will decompose
Silly decayed remains of our civilization
To let them to be forgotten as part of the circle
Of cycles of births and dyings we know as the Universe
